1- What is Vietnam’s e-Visa?

Vietnam e visa or Vietnam electronic visa (symbolized on evisa letter starting as EV) has been introduced by the Vietnam Immigration Department since February 2, 2017. This kind of Vietnamese visa is applied for and issued online.
 

2- How long is an e-Visa valid for?
Vietnam's evisa is updated to allow to stay up to 90 days. Both single and multi entries are allowed from August 15, 2023
 

3- Who is allowed to apply evisa to Vietnam?
Follwing The Resolution No. 127/NQ-CP dated August 14, 2023, Evisa Vietnam is now available for citizens of all countries and territories who wish to stay in Vietnam for no more than 90 days.

3- Which ports can enter Vietnam with evisa ?
The Government has decided to issue e-visas to all foreign arrivals at 52 ports of entry from August 15, according to its Resolution No. 127/NQ-CP dated August 14, 2023. Here is the list:
By Air-Ports:
1- Noi Bai Airport (Ha Noi capital);
2- Tan Son Nhat Airport (in Ho Chi Minh City);
3- Cam Ranh Airport (in the central province of Khanh Hoa);
4- Da Nang Airport (in the central city of Da Nang);
5- Cat Bi Airport (in the northern port city of Hai Phong);
6- Can Tho Airport (in the Mekong Delta city of Can Tho);
7- Phu Quoc Airport (in the Mekong Delta province of Kien Giang);
8- Phu Bai Airport (in the central province of Thua Thien Hue)
9- Van Don Airport (in the northern province of Quang Ninh);
10- Tho Xuan Airport (in Thanh Hoa province);
11- Dong Hoi Airport (in the central province of Quang Binh).
12 – Phu Cat Airport (in the central province of Binh Dinh);
13 – Lien Khuong Airport (in Central Highlands province of Lam Dong).

By Land-Ports:
1- Tay Trang International Border Gate in Dien Bien province;
2- Mong Cai International Border Gate in Quang Ninh province;
3- Huu Nghi International Border Gate in Lang Son province;
4- Lao Cai International Border Gate in Lao Cai province;
5- Na Meo International Border Gate in Thanh Hoa province;
6- Nam Can International Border Gate in Nghe An province;
7- Cau Treo International Border Gate in Ha Tinh province;
8- Cha Lo International Border Gate in Quang Binh province;
9- La Lay International Border Gate in Quang Tri province;
10- Lao Bao International Border Gate in Quang Tri province;
11- Bo Y International Border Gate in Kon Tum province;
12- Moc Bai International Border Gate in Tay Ninh province;

 To apply for an Evisa for Vietnam, you must make sure that:
1- Your passport is valid for at least 6 months following arrival date and has at least 02 blank pages;
2- You must prepare to have a soft copy of a passport-size photo (

3- You must have a soft copies of your passport with full main page. (

4- You have an exact entry port to in Vietnam, see the list of 52 ports above!
5- You must have a valid credit/debit card to make payment online for e-visa fee.

5- How long does Vietnam evisa application take?
It normally takes 03 working days to receive the e-visa letter; however, the processing time may be affected by a large number of applicants or public holidays. As such, you should consider applying for this kind of visa 1-2 weeks before departure.

With this option, the visa can be processed within 2 to 8 working hours (counted from confirmation time), or 1-2 working days. 6- How much does Vietnam eVisa cost?
An e-visa for Vietnam costs you 
25 USD for a single entry evisa or 50 USD for a multiple entry evisa. This fee is not refunded if your application is refused or your visa letter contains any wrong details which have been provided by you in the application form.
